Rocking chairs – they bring out a funny indecision in me. Back and forth i go between cool liberation [take THAT gravity!] and horrible imagery of B-movies [and the ravages of old age!]
That said, we all <3 this danish rocker from CHESTER’S AFFORDABLE VINTAGE FAIR last weekend. Perhaps it’s the shape [or the jazzy fabric] but we can’t wait to give it a spin!

Ahead of this Saturday’s MASSIVE vintage fair at the Old Spitalfields Market, London, we’ve had a little dalliance with the national press – hooray!
Writing in Saturday’s Times, Mark Bridge wrote that “mid-century furniture and accessories have been coveted by design buffs for years, but recent appearances on the 1960s-set of Mad Men have hugely widened their appeal.” He then mentioned JUDY’S AT SPITALFIELDS as the place to get them!
With stalls like these, we’ll be going Draper on our drapes before you know it!

When Jeniffer Paige sang that sexy late 90s/ early 00’s [‘naughties’ – lol, how appropes!] song ‘Crush,’ never for one second did we imagine her singing about furniture.
That was until today, when an email from new trader, RETROWOMBLE [you had me at Wimbledon!] revealed these shots in anticipation of YORK’S AFFORDABLE VINTAGE FAIR next week [22nd]
For once, we’re going to let them do the talking. But they are totally crush-worthy [we’ll be scribbling their initials in our notebooks before you know it.]
