Get in the swing of Spring with the Judy’s rock n’ roller

Transported to the past, Old Spitalfields Market will be home to over 70 vintage stalls, handpicked  by former celebrity and TV stylist Judy Berger [founder of Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair.] Alongside vintage fashion, accessories, furniture, and collectibles from the 1920s and on, live jive, swing and rock n’ roll music will all feature, set to put a swing in shopper’s steps

Served up on a central stage surrounded by ample space to sit, shoppers can dance, relax and amble whilst enjoying Sailor Jerry’s rum punch from their Bank Holiday pop up bar.

Kicking things off, the eccentric Natalie Ross, a sassy and eccentric pop artist who will have you up ‘n’ dancing with her finely crafted songs and recordings, followed by ‘50s rock and rollers ‘The Voodoo Cats’ a 4 piece 1950’s Rock’n’Roll and Rockabilly hits band offering 50’s sounds to bop along to whilst you’re shopping. Rhythm and blues troupe ‘Red Jackson.’ Hailing from Brighton, the rockabilly trio are thrilled to be playing Old Spitalfields, ready to “reunite vintage fashion with its rock and roll roots!”

Shopped by the likes of Chloe Sevigny, Pixie Lott and Gok Wan to boot, fashion won’t take a backseat, with traders from all over the land looking to welcome the new season with Spring Summer trends and bargains. “The 1950s are bigger than ever,” adds Judy, “with the era featuring at Erdem through to Temperley to even Vivienne Westwood.” Offering up everything from rockabilly leathers to Hepburn glasses to dirndl skirts and florals, “think Mad Men for an afternoon” says Judy, “with added drinks and dancing!”
